Explosion rocks Lebanese town near Israeli border

A large explosion struck the southern Lebanese town of Tair Harfa, located in close proximity to the Israeli border, at 6:45 a.m. Monday morning, Lebanon's Daily Star reported.

According to the report, citing anonymous Lebanese security officials, members of Hezbollah sealed off the area following the blast, withholding access to the Lebanese army and UN peacekeepers.
