A group of 15 haredim threw rocks in protest to work on an archeological site near Beit Hachayal in Jerusalem on Monday, according to reports by Army Radio.

The protesters claim that the archeological excavations are taking place on grounds formerly used for burial.

The aggressors fled the area before police arrived. Five protestors remained to pray and peacefully protest the excavations.
