Israel Air Force aircraft struck a terror cell in the northern Gaza Strip on Friday night, immediately after the terrorists fired a rocket at the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council area.

IAF personnel recorded a direct hit on the target.

The strike came after IAF aircraft thwarted a previous rocket launch by attacking a terror cell earlier on Friday. Hamas officials said one Palestinian was killed and two others were injured in the earlier strike.
