Israel Prize for performing arts awarded

Education Minister Gideon Sa’ar announced on Thursday that the Israel Prize for performing arts is awarded to theater instructor and director Prof. Nola Chelton.

The prize committee who had nominated Chelton noted that she is among “people who changed the face of Israeli theater” and that career and teachings “had a deep impact on society and demonstrated how art can affect our lives”.
