Kadima chair Haim Ramon quits party

Kadima council chairman and former MK Haim Ramon announced Wednesday that he was quitting the party, Israel Radio reported.

In a letter to party head Shaul Mofaz, Ramon said that joining a unity government with Binyamin Netanyahu was a betrayal of the ideas on which Kadima was founded.
