Vice Premier and Kadima leader Shaul Mofaz and his party on Tuesday congratulated former prime minister Ehud Olmert - formerly Kadima leader and member - on the acquittal of the central corruption charges against him.

"Olmert achieved a lot in the diverse roles he held," as Kadima chair and prime minister Kadima stated.

Olmert was acquitted of the charges against him in the Rishon Tours and Talansky affairs, and was found guilty of breach of trust in the Investment Center affair.
