Yesh Atid party chairman Yair Lapid on Thursday called on Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman to resign from his post immediately.
"It cannot be that a man, who in the words of the attorney general fundamentally hurt the public and acted against his public duties on serious matters, will continue to hold a senior position in the government representing Israel to the world," Lapid said.
Liberman was indicted for breach of public trust in the 2008 case involving former ambassador to Belarus Ze’ev Ben-Aryeh.
