Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said that hasbara must be concentrated in the Foreign Ministry so that a clear, united message can be sent abroad to explain Israel's stance on issues.

"There are so many offices that deal with hasbara," he said, "that it leads to uncoordinated messaging."

In a long-awaited special report published Wednesday, State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss criticized, inter alia, Israel's public diplomacy messaging, specifically its failure to convince the world that its soldiers acted appropriately when boarding the Mavi Marmara flotilla ship.
