MKs nominate Judge Eliezer Rivlin for comptroller

A group of Knesset members nominated Judge Eliezer Rivlin for the role of State Comptroller on Thursday.

Current Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss's term will end on July 3, and elections for his successor will take place in the Knesset on May 14, regardless of whether the parliament is dissolved beforehand, as expected.
