Mossad chief Meir Dagan testified before the Turkel Committee on Tuesday. The committee is responsible for investigating the events surrounding the May 31 flotilla raid in which nine pro-Palestinian activists were killed by IDF naval commandos.

After giving his testimony, Dagan emphasized that he had no intention of withholding information from the committee, which he holds great respect for.

The committee sent a letter to Dagan's office on Monday threatening to take legal action against him after its requests to receive documentation related to the intelligence agency’s efforts to stop the Turkish flotilla were ignored.
