Netanyahu phones Obama to congratulate him on election win

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu telephoned US President Barack Obama Thursday night to personally congratulate him on his re-election to a second four-year term.

It was “a vote of confidence in your leadership,” Netanyahu said.

He added that he looked forward to continuing to work with the Obama to address the great challenges facing the US and Israel and to advance peace and security in our region.
