In response to the killing of two Palestinians near Ramallah on Thursday, the Palestinian Authority was considering halting security coordination with Israel, a senior Palestinian official told Palestinian news agency Ma'an.

"Israel has escalated the situation with the killing of two youths with live ammunition, in addition to the suppression of other demonstrations throughout the West Bank marking the 66th Nakba Day," the official was quoted as saying.

The two young men were killed in violent clashes with security forces on the day that Palestinians lament the establishment of Israel.
