MK Yohanan Plesner condemned Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Saturday for a hike in gas prices, saying he was using money from the working sector to fund the settler and haredi communities.

"The prime minister is continuing to stick his hand into the pocket of the public in order to fuel his twisted priorities," Plesner said at a cultural event in Holon. "The Netanyahu government is financing housing for Migron settlers worth around NIS 660,000 per family, and is investing hundreds of thousands of shekels for every haredi family in the city of Harish, but he is sending the bill to the serving and working public."
