Police officials said on Friday that 13 officers were lightly injured during the course of rioting and disturbances in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Shuafat.

The unrest occurred during the funeral of 16-year-old Muhammad Khdeir, who was found dead on Wednesday in what Palestinians say was a revenge killing for the deaths of three Jewish teenagers kidnapped last month in the West Bank.

Six officers were taken to hospital for treatment. The others were treated on the spot.
