Police uncover $600,000 of drugs in northern raid

Police in the northern district uncovered $600,000 worth of drugs in a northern town near Ghajar while arresting an 18-year-old they suspect of running a smuggling operation.
The arrest was the result of "methodical work and a successful undercover investigation by northern police, who foiled the dispersal of large amounts of drugs into the State of Israel," said Asst.-Ch. Rony Atia, commander of the police's Northern District. "We will continue to work tirelessly and using all means at our disposal."
