Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi on Monday evening issued a blanket pardon for all citizens arrested between the start of Egypt's uprising in January 2011 and June 30, 2012, the day he was inaugurated, Al Ahram reported.The pardon applied to those currently facing trial as well those already serving jail sentences.The pardon excluded those convicted of murder.
