Thousands of supporters of Muslim Brotherhood presidential candidate Mohamed Morsi remained in Tahrir Square in the Egyptian capital Saturday night ahead of an official announcement of presidential election results due Sunday afternoon, Al Jazeera reported.

The protesters were demonstrating against a feared power grab by the ruling military council, which dissolved the country's parliament earlier this month.
