The British Foreign Secretary William Hague has joined forces with the Archbishop of Westminster in opposing the route of Israel's barrier along the West Bank, The Guardian reported Thursday.

According to the British newspaper, William Hague told Archbishop Vincent Nichols that he shares his "concerns about the problem of land confiscation by the Israeli authorities affecting the people of Beit Jala and similar Palestinian communities in the occupied territories" in a private letter.
