Russia says it has not sent new helicopters to Syria

MOSCOW - Russia's Foreign Ministry said on Friday that Moscow had not made any new deliveries of its military helicopters to Syria and confirmed there were "previous planned repairs of (helicopters), which were delivered to Syria many years ago".
In its most direct response yet to comments from US Secretary State Hillary Clinton saying the United States had information that attack helicopters were on the way from Russia to Syria, the statement said Moscow's arms industry cooperation was limited to defense technology.
