National Student Union chairman Itzik Shmueli criticized new eligibility criteria for public housing on Thursday, saying that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu quietly agreed to sell out the middle class and is thereby "working against us."

"Housing is the symbol of the protest," he said, adding that Housing Minister Ariel Attias's new plan will act to reawaken the students.
