A one-and-a-half year old child was killed and her four-month old sister was in critical condition after a family of six was exposed to a poisonous substance in their home in Jerusalem's Giv'at Mordechai neighborhood on Wednesday.
Two parents in their thirties, as well as two additional small children were treated on the scene by paramedics after being lightly affected by the substance, believed to be a result of pest extermination spraying.
Police said that they were checking the connection between the pest extermination spraying and the family's poisoning and had detained the exterminator for questioning.
