US Chamber to lead security trade delegation to Israel

The US Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the US-Israel Business Initiative, will lead a senior level national security trade delegation to Israel next week.
The delegation will meet with senior Israeli officials and members of the corporate community with a view to promoting business opportunities in such sectors as cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, emergency management, ports of entry, aviation, and border security.
The American delegation will be led by former US Secretary of Homeland Security Tom Ridge, US Chamber Senior Vice President of International Affairs Myron Brilliant, and US Chamber Vice President of National Security & Emergency Preparedness Ann Beauchesne.
“Both politically and economically, Israel is one of our most significant allies globally and our most important ally in the Middle East,” said Ridge.
The US-Israel Business Initiative was launched in October 2010 to advance and strengthen commercial ties between and advocate for American companies operating in Israel.
