W. Bank Palestinians strike in protest of cost of living

Demonstrations against the high cost of living continued in the West Bank on Monday, as Palestinian protesters called for the resignation of Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
Demonstrators in Nablus burned tires and blocked the roads as a one-day strike of public transportation began across the West Bank, to protest the increase in the price of fuel and basic goods.
Meanwhile, Abbas announced that he will visit India on Tuesday, to review bilateral relations and the peace process, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
