Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon held consultations with security chiefs on Thursday as Operation Protective Edge entered its third day.
Ya'alaon said that the IDF had significantly hit terror infrastructure in Gaza and would continue to act "until they understand that escalation is not worth their while and rocket fire on our communities will not be tolerated."
He suggested that the operation would continue: "We have long days ahead of us of fighting and attempts by Hamas to surprise Israel with terror attacks from the air."
