Superhero fans have been looking forward to a Justice League film for years, even decades, to no avail. They'll probably have to keep waiting, but at least something close is in the pipeline – a Superman vs. Batman movie starring Henry Cavil and Ben Affleck in the title roles. Warner Brothers is throwing some girl power into the mix, looking to cast a brand-new Wonder Woman and former Miss Israel, actress-model Gal Gadot is one of the leading candidates for the job! You may recognize Gadot from some of the "Fast and Furious" films. Meanwhile, she's working hard as spokesmodel for Israel clothing chain Castro.

 

In other movie news, "Tar," the indie biopic of Pulitzer Prize-winning poet C.K. Williams, who wrote Jew on the Bridge, has a fittingly Jewish cast. Check out Mila Kunis, James Franco and Zach Braff in this trailer.
To some it may sound "inconceivable" for the best film of all time – at least in the Schmooze's opinion – to go to Broadway, but William Goldman, who wrote both the "The Princess Bride" screenplay and the book the movie is based on, said "as you wish" to his fans and is working on a live version with Disney Theatrical Productions. While it has yet to be decided if it will be a play or a musical, let's face it: "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die," would make an amazing song.
From Strasbourg to San Francisco, the world seems to be against ritual circumcision. MKs have been traveling the world to fight efforts to stop Jews from getting a bris. Jewish a cappella group Kol Ish took on the cause with its song "Mohels" to the tune of Lorde's "Royals."
