MK Bielski condemns UN Human Rights Council for its bias

MK Ze'ev Bielski (Kadima) condemned Saturday the UN Human Rights Council's decision to set up a special investigative committee on the effect West Bank settlers have on Palestinians.

"Israel, like other democratic countries, must withdraw from the the UN's Human Rights Council. The Council has no connection whatsoever with human rights, and is a disgrace to the international body," he said.

"The absurd fact is that Syria is killing tens of civilians each day while the Council chooses to condemn Israel and not Syria."
