Report: Two rockets explode near Ofakim; no casualties

Terrorists in Gaza launched two rockets towards the city of Ofakim west of Beersheba Sunday, causing no damage or injuries, Army Radio reported.
The attacks marked a continuation of rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, which escalated last Friday after the IDF assassinated a leader of the Palestinian Resistance Committees. Over 160 rockets have been fired at Israel since Friday, and 17 Palestinians including one teenager have been killed during IAF operations in the Strip.
Shortly before the two rockets landed near Ofakim, which sits halfway between Beersheba and the Gaza Strip, three rockets were towards residential areas in Beersheba. One explosion caused damage to a school, which was empty due school closures.
Israel holds Hamas - the rulers of the Gaza Strip - responsible for all rocket attacks on Israeli communities.
