Ashkenazi: Israel not involved in Lebanese issues

IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi said that though the events in Lebanon are rather "worrying," they are "internal" and Israel is not involved.
Ashkenazi made the comments a joint dinner during his the NATO Mediterranean Dialogues. The dinner was attended by military heads from several different countries, such as Australia, Russia, Greece, and Canada.
The IDF chief added that the Syria-Iran alliance has strengthened, and that "Assad should be put in the face of a dilemma, and caused to choose peace."
