Snow falls on Mount Hermon for the first time this winter

Four inches of snow fell Sunday morning on Mount Hermon's upper crest, at an altitude of approximately 2,020 meters, bringing the first snowfall of this year's winter.
At the lower area of the mountain three to five centimeters of of soft snow fell, mixed with rain.
Overnight, Jerusalem received 14mm of rain, while Tel Aviv saw 5.7mm of rainfall. The Negev saw the heaviest showers with 26.4mm, while Haifa experienced only 1.5mm of rain.
