Netanyahu, Mofaz meet with Ashton to discuss Iran talks

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met with EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton on Wednesday to discuss the upcoming talks between the P5+1 group of world powers and Iran, scheduled to take place in Baghdad on May 23.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak, Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman and newly-minted Vice Premier Shaul Mofaz were also present at the meeting in Jerusalem.
Ashton is representing the P5+1, consisting of the US, France, Britain, Russia, China and Germany, in the talks with Iran over its controversial nuclear program.
Netanyahu requested that Ashton ask the Iranians to halt all uranium enrichment, remove all the enriched uranium currently in their territory and cease activity at the underground nuclear facility at Fordow near the city of Qom.
