Man arrested for paying cop to attack girl's school rabbi

Jerusalem police arrested a man last week who was accused of paying an undercover policeman thousands of shekels in order to injure the rabbi of a girls boarding school in Jerusalem.
In his investigation, the man, in his 50s, claimed that the rabbi was holding his 20-year-old daughter at the school against her will.
The suspect's detention was extended until Monday by the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court, at which point the police released him to house arrest with additional restrictions.
