Shas unveils new app to receive blessings from Yosef

Shas unveiled a new application for iphone and Android smartphones Sunday. On the application, called Maran Shelita (Hebrew for the great rabbi, who should lives a good and long life), requests for blessings can be sent to Shas mentor Rabbi Ovadia Yosef.
The application also includes a speech by the rabbi, a video about his life, and a daily lesson in Jewish law.
Shas was careful not to condition the blessing on voting for Shas, because that would have been against the law.
