The Finance Ministry’s E-Government online portal has developed a mobile
monitoring system that will enable the public to track election results on
Tuesday from the moment the polls close until tallies are final, the ministry
announced on Monday.
Allowing Israelis to view vote counts in real time,
the system will update numbers every 10 minutes and will allow viewers to
examine voting data in general and in segments based on cities and parties, the
ministry said. Voters can access the portal from all types of smart phones and
tablet devices from the moment voting stations close on election day.
