IDF, Gazans clash along border; 3 injured

Clashes between the IDF and Palestinians along the border with Gaza resulted in three injuries Monday night, Israel Radio reported.
According to the report, IDF soldiers fired at three Palestinians, one in northern Gaza and two in the south, after warning shots in the air failed to quell the demonstrations.
In response, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon reportedly phoned Defense Minister Ehud Barak to urge Israel to uphold its commitments under the ceasefire agreement signed with Hamas last week.
The IDF emphasized that Gazans are not permitted to gather along the border fence, nor cross it.
