Defense Minister Ehud Barak retaliated on Wednesday against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s attacks on him in a book he is in the process of writing.
In an interview with Channel 2, Barak dismissed the book as the the rantings of a man in distress.
“After I forced him out of office, I didn’t expect him to embrace me,” Barak said. “But he is in distress, so I don’t want to judge him. His credibility will be decided by the courts.”
Barak said the accusations against him in the portions of the book that have been published are incorrect.
On the Iranian issue, Bark called 2011 a decisive year.
