IAF hits two Gaza targets; Palestinians claim four injured

IDF says "exact hits focused on specific targets" are in response to earlier rocket attacks; Palestinians claim 3 sites hit.

IAF planes hit two targets in Gaza on Wednesday night, according to a Thursday statement by the IDF Spokesperson.
"As part of a joint IDF and general security services operation, IAF planes during the night attacked two terror targets in the Gaza Strip," the statement said. "The hits were exact and focused on specific targets. All IAF planes returned back to the base safely."

The IDF said "the attack was in response to rocket attacks in the Eshkol Council area on Wednesday."
Earlier Thursday, Palestinian news sources claimed that  Israel Air Force planes hit three targets in Gaza City and the surrounding area, Israel Radio reported.
Hamas officials and other eye witnesses reported that four people were injured as a result of the attacks, the report continued.
The IDF did not comment on any injuries suffered.
