The vibrant Indian stage musical Passage to Bollywood returns to Israel once again from May 17 through May 20, with performances taking place in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa and Omer.
Staged by the Navdhara India Dance Theater, led by choreographer Ashley Lobo, Passage To Bollywood features colorful and spectacular costumes, rhythmic dances, authentic Indian cultural scenes and foot-tapping music. The performance centers around the theme of love, asking how far a person will go to bring a dream to life.
Passage to Bollywood includes a cast of 22 dancers who, during the course of the show, don and discard 80 different costumes and go through their paces to a background of stirring numbers that span an expansive range of human emotions. The visual impact is heightened by the incorporation of video art, with a giant screen projecting excerpts from some of Bollywood’s blockbuster productions.
Tickets range from NIS 139 to NIS 359.
