Any investigation into Israel's raid of the Gaza aid flotilla should explore all the
facts of the event, including who sponsored the
Mavi Marmara and why there were weapons aboard the
ship, Prime
Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said at a Tel Aviv financial conference on Wednesday.
Netanyahu added that the Israeli commandos involved in the raid will face IDF
investigators only and will not be subject to any outside probe.

The
prime minister stated
that
he is also prepared to be
personally investigated for his role in Israel's Gaza flotilla raid.
The
cabinet was set to convene on Wednesday morning for a discussion on ways
to set up a commission of inquiry into last week's flotilla
incident.
According to Israel Radio, the cabinet was likely to
mandate the establishment of an independent investigation committee that
would include US observers to ensure objectivity and efficiency.
