What have we gained from destroying 9 homes in Amona?
Besides for unnecessary suffering, internal arguments and rifts.
If one day, we will have a peace partner and an agreement, then we must make a judgment.
Then, it's possible we will need to take steps like these.
Right now, I think we are just creating troubles for ourselves.
I'm sure, that with the Prime Minister's leadership, we will find a smarter way
to deal with the High Court of Justice, without falling into this trap.
I myself, as the finance minister, have temporarily suspended,
the transfer of tax money to the Palestinian Authority for a week or two in the past,
when they started the process (in the UN) a half a year ago.
And I think that despite the hardships and international pressure,
that the Palestinian Authority's unilateral moves, like these, demand a fitting response.
and without recognizing the Jewish State,
while in a conflict and in a confrontation with Israel,
without a peace agreement, without security, and without an end to the conflict,
then I don't think that our first priority,
will be to guard the Palestinians' feelings,
who are threatening to turn into an enemy state, in the same manner as Gaza, or in a different way.
