Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has decided to remove Yasser Abed Rabbo from his post as the PA's official media supervisor, China's official Xinhua news website reported Tuesday according to a Palestinian source.
Following his removal from that position, Rabbo will become an advisor to Palestinian Radio and Television Corporation, according to the report.
The decision to remove Rabbo from the media post will not affect his position as secretary-general of the PA, said the source, who spoke with Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
Rabbo denied the report on Tuesday, speaking with Palestinian Al Quds newspaper, saying he had no knowledge of the news.
