The Knesset Legal Advisor said Wednesday that dissolving the Knesset would automatically extend the Tal Law.
Discord over replacing the controversial law on ultra-Orthodox participation in the army, due to expire in August, was at the heart of the decision to call new elections.
According to the advisor, the law would continue in its current form until three months after the new Knesset's inauguration.
