High court rules against Palestinian hunger strikers

The High Court of Justice rejected on Monday petitions by two Palestinian security prisoners who have been on hunger strike since March in protest at the military court's ruling to extend their administrative detention.

Petitioners Bilal Diab and Thaer Halahleh, both suspected of extensive involvement in terror group Islamic Jihad, have been on hunger strike since March in protest against their administrative detention; Halahleh since March 15 and Diab since March 13, according to medical records presented to the court.
