Intel Israel is the preferred place of work in Israel, according to an annual
survey by BDI-Coface and The Marker.
The survey was based on interviews
with 2,000 employees throughout the country. The main criteria for the
respondents were levels of pay and job security.
Intel Israel was No. 1
for the fifth year in a row. It was followed by Israel Electric Corporation,
Teva Pharmaceuticals, HP Israel, Microsoft Israel, Bank Hapoalim, Google Israel,
Bank Leumi, Amdocs and the Strauss Group.
The four companies based
outside Israel in the top 10 – Intel, HP, Microsoft and Google – pay relatively
large salaries and their size and balance sheets ensure a high degree of job
security.
Among the Israeli companies, Israel Electric offers job
security and high salaries. Teva, Amdocs and Strauss are not known for high
salaries, but they are large, local multinational company that have a high
degree of job security. Bank Leumi and Bank Hapoalim are also not known for high
salaries, but potential employees can hope to become high-ranking executives
with very high salaries.
