LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED
Suzanne Bier directed this sweet romantic comedy that tells
the story of Ida (Trine Dyrholm), who has just completed her cancer treatments
and discovers her husband in bed with a young co-worker. She travels
alone to Italy to attend their daughter’s wedding, where she meets the father of
the groom, Philip (Pierce Brosnan), a widower who lives in a seaside
villa. Despite bad first impressions, Ida may find her chance for another
life.

FRUITFUL ENCOUNTER
Renowned photographer Iris Nesher was seeking a cultural
icon for a new project. The result of her surprising encounter is an
exhibition at the Museum of Israeli Art titled “Yoram Kanuik: The Mona Lisa from
Hess Street.” A gallery talk with the photographer will take place on Saturday
at noon.

3D DESIGN
Designer Itzik Mevorah’s exhibition of his designs, titled “Mevorah
Exports,” is at the Holon Design Museum. Mevorah, whose work is inspired
by materials from the world of fashion, as well as cars, diving gear and
airplanes, tries to eliminate the borders separating art and design and says his
works are somewhere between 2D and 3D art.

A GREAT ROMANCE
Romeo and Juliet will be performed by the
Israel Ballet Company tomorrow and Saturday in Tel Aviv. The full production was

The Israel Ballet presents a Première
Night of four new works by acclaimed choreographer Itzik Galili, to music by
John Cage. The centerpiece And the Earth Shall Bear was first performed

The Curtain Up dance
event starts this Wednesday for the 23rd time, presenting 11 new works by young,
up-and-coming choreographers in four parts. The event will take place at the

Theater between November 26-29.

The Ever-Green ensemble with guest dancers will perform at the Acre
