'Proud homophobe' Feiglin to meet gay leaders
By GIL HOFFMAN
The goal of the meeting is for LGBT leaders to tell Feiglin their views on key issues pertaining to their community.
New Likud MK Moshe Feiglin will meet with homosexuals from across the political spectrum Thursday night in Tel Aviv, the Likud's gay forum announced Tuesday. The meeting will be run by the political arm of the national Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgendered Task Force.
The goal of the meeting is for LGBT leaders to tell Feiglin their views on key issues pertaining to their community such as discrimination.
"Feiglin is coming to listen and be heard," Likud gay forum spokesman Gil Kol said.
A meeting between Feiglin and gay Likud activists that was set for March
was canceled after he received complaints
from some of his key supporters in the United States. Feiglin wrote an article in the past in which he declared himself “a proud homophobe.”
