26 killed, 1,872 injured in November road accidents

Twenty-six people were killed an additional 1,872 were injured – 124 hurt seriously – in 1,065 Israeli road accidents in November 2013, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported on Sunday. Not including the accidents in Judea and Samaria, 24 people were killed and 1,778 people were injured – with 114 hurt seriously – in 1,014 accidents, the CBS said.

Examining the data that does not include Judea and Samaria, the number of accidents resulting in injuries increased on average each month by 0.7% from January 2013 to November 2013, after an average monthly decline of 0.6% from the period of July 2013 to December 2012 the CBS said. An even starker period of comparison is that of February 2011 through January 2013, which featured an average monthly decline of 0.8%, according to the CBS.
