Paramedics pronounce death of 22-year-old man in apartment at Kibbutz Kfar Haruv; MDA says body yielded signs of violence.

Authorities arrested a 21-year-old man in the early hours of Saturday morning on suspicion of murdering his roommate at a kibbutz in the Golan Heights.

Police arrested the suspect after a 22-year-old man was found dead in an apartment at Kibbutz Kfar Haruv.

Magen David Adom paramedics said signs of violence were evident on the upper body of the deceased.

According to Israeli media, the suspect told a guard posted at the entrance to the kibbutz that he had stabbed his roommate.

According to initial investigations, authorities suspected the incident was preceded by an argument between the two who were childhood friends and had rented the apartment together for some four months, Army Radio reported.

Police were further investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
