Nahum Ben Yitzhak stabbed Itzik Mor in throat in 2009; victim's father laments sentence, says Ben Yitzhak "will kill again."

Jerusalem District Court on Wednesday sentenced Nahum Ben Yitzhak to 13 years in prison for stabbing IDF soldier Itzik Mor to death outside of a nightclub in Jerusalem in 2009.

Ben Yitzhak, who was charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault, was also ordered to pay Mor's father NIS 258,000 in compensation.

Mor was stabbed in the throat during a clash between youths stemming from an argument that broke out in the Jerusalem club. Mor's cousin Aviran Suissa was also stabbed in the chest during the confrontation.

Upon handing the 13 year prison sentence to Ben Yitzhak, the judge wrote: "Unfortunately, a night out ended in the tragic result of the deceased's life being cut short and Aviran being seriously injured. This is yet another case of a violent confrontation, in which a knife was used, that led to a senseless death and serious injury."

Mor and Ben Yitzhak were both IDF soldiers at the time of the incident.

The argument began when one of Ben Yitzhak's friends was accidentally pushed by one of Mor's freinds. The argument escalated and the parties involved exited the club. During the tussle, Ben Yitzhak went to his vehicle to retrieve a knife. He yelled at those assembled to disperse, at which point he stabbed Mor in the neck and Suissa in the chest.

Mor's father Danny criticized what he considered a light sentence given to Ben Yitzhak. "Take a third of his sentence off for good behavior, he's out in seven or eight years, and I promise he will kill again."
