Queen of England congratulates Rivlin on presidency
President-elect Reuven Rivlin receives personal letter of congratulations from Queen Elizabeth II.
British ambassador to Israel Matthew Gould presented president-elect Reuven Rivlin with a letter of congratulations from Queen Elizabeth II, the queen of England.

"I am sure that the strong relations and close ties of friendship between our two countries will continue during your term of office," she wrote. I extend to you and the people of Israel, my best wishes for a peaceful and prosperous future.

Since his election on June 5, Rivlin has received goodwill messages from a number of world leaders. His swearing-in ceremony will be held in July.
