The meeting was reportedly the first since October 7 and came a few weeks after the French National Anti-Terror office announced that it had opened a preliminary investigation against Israel.
Earlier on Monday, Iran's IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news agency denied claims that IAEA inspectors would be allowed access to the country's nuclear sites under the MoU.
The mediators did not explain how the mechanism would operate or resolve the current hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah.
Avivi described the US-Iran document as provisional and limited, not a final agreement that should reshape Israel’s military calculations.
"Unfortunately, this is not the first time Netanyahu has caused a state of escalation in the region," the Qatari PM said in an interview following the conclusion of Iran talks in Switzerland.
